Sponsorships
Volunteers needed! The little league is a nonprofit organization aimed
at bringing kids the best baseball money can buy. In order for this to happen,
many people need to donate their time freely.
West Plains Little League can use your help. We need volunteers for board members,
coaches umpires, team moms, fundraising, help and organizing equipment and event.
Contact Adam Smith at 559-4069 to volunteer.
West Plains Little League is for all children, boys and girls ages 5-12. Our
league charter is set to run along Cheney School District and Medical Lake School
District boundries. Students living any where in side these two school districts
are eligible to play in the West Plains Little League. |

He Is Just a Little Boy
He stands at the plate with his heart pounding fast.
The bases are loaded, the die has been cast.
Mom and Dad cannot help him, he stand all alone.
A hit at this moment would send the team home.
The ball meets the plate, he swings and he misses.
There's a groan from the crowd, with some boos and hisses.
A thoughtless voice cries, "Strike out the bum"
Tears fill his eyes, the game's no longer fun.
So open your heart and give him a break,
For it's moments like this, a man you can make.
Please keep this in mind, when you hear someone forget,
he is just a little boy, and not a man yet.
