11 Year-Olds Eliminated
The West Plains Little League 11 Year-Old All-Star team was eliminated on Wednesday 12-8.
Details will be posted when they become available.
11 Year-Olds Rally, Fall Short in Opener
The West Plains Little League 11 Year-Old All-Star team got off to a rocky
start, but rallied back before loosing 12-7 to Walla Walla Valley in the
opening round of the District 5 Little League tournament down in Walla Walla.
Down 11-0 in the early going, the WPLL All-Stars mounted a comeback before
running out of innings.
More details will be published when the become available.
WPLL will play today (July 6th) at 4:30 in a looser out game against the
looser of the Spokane North/Asotin County game.

He Is Just a Little Boy
He stands at the plate with his heart pounding fast.
The bases are loaded, the die has been cast.
Mom and Dad cannot help him, he stand all alone.
A hit at this moment would send the team home.
The ball meets the plate, he swings and he misses.
There's a groan from the crowd, with some boos and hisses.
A thoughtless voice cries, "Strike out the bum"
Tears fill his eyes, the game's no longer fun.
So open your heart and give him a break,
For it's moments like this, a man you can make.
Please keep this in mind, when you hear someone forget,
he is just a little boy, and not a man yet.
